Memories are beautiful when the past was good and the present has some ripples! We enjoy and cherish them more!
Yesterday, while getting back from office; there was some blockage in the way to my home and the bus redirected through another route. I thought "Oh Man, now I have to walk all the way back home"
But just then I realised, the way back home was through the school I studied!!
A sense of happiness flooded through my nerves. Just minutes ago frustation to walk home and now am happy to walk!
Wattan irony....
Yes, I walked through the roads where I did my schooling. I studied there from kindergarden till 12th.... so more than 14 years I had taken that path to school and back home which was pretty close to the school.
As I passed my school; a gush of thoughts;
cycle stand, playground, play pen, classrooms, auditorium, prayer, play shed, canteen and what not!
My child hood friends and the time I spend with them...
The nearby bakery shop where we all used to eat out everyday... from chaat to ice creams....!!
The road that I took back home was through a pubic playground. Swings, sea-saw , slides and other games!
We used to play there while going back home every evening!!
Also, we were a bunch from the same apartments studying in the same school and we used to walk together back home.
Was always wonderful to be with friends around.
During rainy days, along with all the kids living in that apartments we used to walk back home. It was so much fun and memorable. I remember every instance and the different routes we took.
Life has taken a huge turn now and everything seems like way back though its just 8 years since I finished school.
Participating in all competitions in school and enjoyed every little thing.
These are the memories which we carry through out our life!
I dont think any such memory during our work life can replace this....
Childhood is indeed the best phase in our life!
And my school was one of the best!!! :)
very nostalgic... Its true that school day memories can not be replaced by any other time... Those were 'free bird' times... :)
