Ever gone through a situation where someone you meet or
cross in the same place you visit regularly; be it your work place or temple or
college or school; any where….
Saying a Hi to you with a big smile and you reply back with
a “Hi” but not really knowing who he/she is???!!!!!
I faced it today morning….
While I was in office, in the lift; the girl who entered the
lift after me; gave me a big chirpy hi that I couldn’t resist giving back one
though I really couldn’t recognize her.
I strained struggled and screwed by brain a lot to recollect
“Do I really know her?”
Man… I couldn’t even take a wild guess…
Why, even now I don’t remember an inch of knowing her!!!
It does happen to us right, a few times….
Where we don’t know them but we end up smiling back at them…
It’s a little embarrassing though if questioned or when
asked on our where about.
Good I dint face any of that today… :D
But in my case this has become a practice now and I always
end up smiling not knowing who they are… of course to the ones who smile at me...
A courtesy smile back is no harm right ;)
