He waited!!

Today I accompanied my nephews to a nearby park...
Its summer vacation now and the park was full of kids.

A few on the swings; some on the slides and some playing in the mud.
A lot of people were out for their evening walk.
A good evening to spend there indeed.

My younger nephew was in the slides and I was baby sitting him.
The slide as we all know has the steps on one inclination and the slide on the other.
There were lot of kids getting on to them.
It was technically a queue on the steps side of it and kids were a little barging to get on before another steps on!

I just noticed my nephew... allowing another kid to hop on to the steps and he waited a little aside; till he did that

YES .... You got me right -- he was behaving like in a PROPER queue !!!

He is just 4 years old and he knows what a queue is - we kept repeating ONE BY ONE!
and he followed and behaved himself...

Whatever be it; I just enjoyed and was more astonished to find him with a lot of patience for his turn to slide
and to let another kid ahead of him...

Am sure he would have this throughout his life and Im just waiting to see how he turns out to be as he gets older...
He made me day :)

Life's ups and downs!!

I dont know if this blog is heading on a positive or negative note...
but for sure just as life has both; this blog also will have both I assume....

Whats making me talk about LIFE?! A big word indeed right?
LIFE is indeed beautiful for some and not so for a few.
Some feel its a bliss; some feel its a pain; some enjoy life; some say life sucks!!

So does it mean that one gets it and another doesnt?!

No we all have a life....
But whats the difference?

Is it what we choose? The education; family; friends; work; society; relationships????
Or is it the way we build them?

When the sun sets in one side of the earth; its morning the other side!
Similarly; in India when there a new baby born; in Australia someone's life might have come to an end... for some reason.

We are all given life; one life; is my belief.....
You can live your life however you want; cause thats yours....

But you cannot live another person's life.
You cannot expect someone else to follow your thoughts; coz they are individuals too with their own life.

But what's important is the values and the way you lead your life.
Its simple -- according to me; anything that gives you happiness do that as long as it does not hurt another's happiness.

Cause we all want happiness. Leading a life just for yourself will not give it....
Live for you and all around you.
Love thoroughly!!

Probably love is the most beautiful thing which explains life.
Some feel the reason we are born is to fall in love; meet one's soul mate :)

But life sucks at times - when there is hatred; jealousy; greed; war; fight!
This is what we hear from people.

When there's something overwhelming and joyous happening on one side of your life...
on the other side there are times when you lose your loved ones by death or separation.

Death - a biggest threat to life - opposite to life!
but separation sans death is something we choose or destined!

Wow yaar; lotta related words come in while talking about life!

Destiny -- my Fav!
I believe in destiny too.. Its different to fate...

I can keep on writing about life; but this abstract about it leaves me also confusing...

what do you want in life? :)

Bundle of Confusion?!

I've always wondered why is it that; we always end up in a confusion...
WOMEN i mean....

We think more? We analyse more? We conclude faster?
We cannot at times accept whats happening around us, but thats the way we girls are made!

Ever read the book "Men are from Mars and women from venus"?
Awesome book.... points out blunt what men and women are

But dont you think the book was a little biased towards men ;)

What to do; the women in me still says that its a little favouritism shown by the male author :D

Yes; I agree we women confuse ourselves so much...

In the movie "Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya" , Trisha has played a role which completely depicts what a women goes through!
And what a walk through of her character... Loved it!

Yes thats the way we are guys!!!
I dont feel embarrassed to say out that we are that way... coz its as simple as that that we are like that ;)

Recently I realised how true this confusion is there within me...
Not able to come to a decision nor withdraw the one I've chosen.

We just dont know at times what to do...
Its during these times I've heard about a way to take a decision

TOSS A COIN
Yes... The HEAD or TAIL decision but with a little difference here.

Decide on what you want on the heads and tails respectively on the subject
and then toss the coin up in the air....

By the time the coin lands, our heart would pound faster to tell us what we want... like..
"My God... it should be HEADS" :) :)

And yes you've got what you wanted... decision making stratergy
Thats the best way to decide what you want when you are in confusion.

And yea this is applicable for both men and women ;)

Might sound a little simple and impractical
but yeh guys; we should do what our heart says
listen to her and you will be happier :)

Happiness can be obtained in as simple as tossing a coin like this...
Try it sometime....

The WOMAN!

Every time when I spell out WOMAN; a race of goose bumps goes through me. Not because I am one but just the distance we have traveled to reach where we are today, makes me feel so…

We don’t need examples of famous women around the world to speak of our achievements. A woman in your home; in the neighborhood; in your streets is enough to prove it!

Women take different roles – as daughter, as sister, as sis-in-law, as wife, as mother, as aunt, as grandmother and as a friend!

And she’s different in all these

She is a character to herself and a credit to others….

I don’t remember if Woman’s day was celebrated as much as today; years back. May be in the last 6 years we see this.

But woman are still ill-treated and used. The equality can be seen at work place with some bias though.

The stress and responsibilities she goes through are far more than expected. Her professional and personal life balances are wonders she creates.

Her talents on cooking, music, dance, other form of arts, fashion, jewellery ….

Man she does have a lotta things in her!

Then why are women still degraded and weaker. This acceptance has to come from all.

She is equal to the other gender and far ahead in some areas!

Indeed she is Marvelous and has to be treasured….

OMG!!
This new thing about Baby yoga on the news is seriously shocking...

It says its real... but will all parents follow it?
Or just another speculation?

we dont know until its completely out.
However, on the note of this news; which is shocking for anyone for swinging a baby right and left
and all around arms; man.... please i cant even imagine it

The videos are even more hard to believe...

How do people come up with such crazy findings?!
True or not; the idea will not be accepted

and hope the babies are safe out there!!

Doctor’s day out

A rude shock due to the murder of a doctor in Tuticorin this week!!
A doctor was murdered by an angry patient’s husband for unsuccessful surgery which costed the life of the patient….

To protest against this cruel act; the doctors raised a strike by not working a day!
Their protest was against the government to give justice for the doctor’s murder and protection of the doctors in general.

Their request seemed to be right but the way of protest was inhuman.
A day without doctors will lead to more deaths when the emergency patients are not addressed.
This would in turn cause more problems and sin…

The strike has caused a chaos among people from varied sectors and taken them on an further anger!

This chaos has caused an alarm among people and government.
Doctors need to understand the seriousness of this and act wisely!

A protest can be done in some other form to let people know how much they care of the patient’s life instead of this “am not bothered” attitude!

The doctor’s day out turned to be a miserable incident on awake of 2012!!

Yet another year of happenings around us.
Personally, this year has given me a mixture of emotions.
My family and friends who moved away for work; had come down on vacation.
Catching up and spending good time with them was just wonderful.
People around us make life so beautiful.

As far as work is concerned; its been giving me some good time too.
New friends at work; fun moments and all...
Its now keeping me busy and  happy :)

A new year brings a freshness to our minds; to help us collect; forget and move on.
A new life on the hope...

So wil 2012 be for us.
With this hope; lets welcome 2012....

May all our dreams come true :)
